A. The maximum power consumption is 2.5W at 30 meters (CAT6A or better).

Q. What devices does the SFP-10G-T-X interoperate with on the other side of the link?
A. The SFP-10G-T-X interoperates with any device that supports 10GBASE-T, 1000BASE-T, or 100BASE-TX standards (such as IEEE 802.3an, 802.3ab, 802.3u). The SFP-10G-T-X interoperates with other BASE-T transceivers with (RJ-45 ports) as well as embedded BASE-T ports on servers and switches that comply to the IEEE standards described above.

A. Yes, the maximum power consumption of this transceiver (2.5W per port) imposes certain restrictions during deployment. Cisco switches and routers will not be able to fully populate and deploy all ports with the SFP-10G-T-X.
