Archer VR300 is compatible with several DSL standards (VDSL2 including profile 17a, ADSL, ADSL2, ADSL2+, etc.), thus offering flexibility depending on what the ISP provides. It also supports newer DSL features like vectoring (G.vector) and G.INP, which help to improve stability and reduce errors on lines.
On the wireless side, the router comes with 4 fixed external antennas, which help in extending the wireless coverage within a house. It also offers features like Guest Network, Parental Controls, IPv6 support, IGMP Proxy/Snooping for IPTV, QoS / bandwidth control, and various security mechanisms (firewall, access control, MAC/IP binding, etc.).
Hardware-wise, the VR300 includes 3 RJ45 LAN ports, 1 RJ45 LAN/WAN port, and an RJ11 DSL port. It supports a LAN/WAN switch so you can also use an external modem via the WAN port if needed.
In terms of physical dimensions and power, it uses an external supply (12V, 1A), and the casing houses all of the antennas and ports in a moderately compact design that fits most standard home setups.
