The Mercusys AC10 (AC1200) is a dual-band Wi-Fi router designed for home or small-office use that delivers solid performance without a high price tag. Built around the 802.11ac standard, it supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. On the 2.4 GHz band, it offers up to 300 Mbps, and on 5 GHz up to 867 Mbps, for a combined maximum theoretical throughput of about 1,167 Mbps.

It aims to balance speed, coverage, and usability. The AC10 comes with four external 5 dBi omni-directional antennas which improve signal strength and reach, especially helpful in homes with multiple rooms or where walls tend to block Wi-Fi. It also uses beamforming technology to detect where devices are located and send stronger signal in those directions, improving stability.
